Amy Peck Obituary, Death – Amy Lynn Peck, age 20, of 4897 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010, as a consequence of injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred in Mount Joy Township. Her birthday is March 25th, 1990, and she was born in Altoona. Her parents are Danny and Denise (Detwiler) Peck. Her parents, a brother named Barry Templin Jr., and a sister named Danaca Peck, both of Manheim, as well as her maternal grandmother, Barbara Detwiler, of Duncansville, her paternal grandfather Harry Peck of Petersburg, and her paternal grandmother Olive Peck of Huntingdon, as well as a half sister, two half brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews, are among those who are still living.
Amy was a student who made the honor roll and graduated from Manheim Central High School in 2008, where she also was a member of the varsity cheerleading team. She attended York Technical Institute on a regular basis at the Lancaster Campus, where she majored in criminal justice and was also a member of the school’s soccer squad. Amy held a part-time position as a correctional officer at the Lebanon County Prison, and she also held a part-time position at the Lebanon location of the Hess Express Gasoline and Convenience Store.
Amy’s greatest joys in life were spending time with her loved ones. Throughout her life, she took pleasure in spending time with her family and assisting her friends. She also looked forward to spending some time with her nephew Noah, who was 2 years old. On Saturday, July 10, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial ceremony at 11:00 a.m., friends and family will be received at Sorge Funeral Home, located at 422 N. The burial will be a private affair.
