Beatrice Artuso Obituary, Death – Beatrice Artuso, who had been a resident of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away on April 4, 2023, as she was encircled by the loved members of her cherished family. Recent activities included commemorating her 90th birthday earlier this year. She was the daughter of Italian immigrants Salvatore Groccia and Rose (Perri) Groccia, as well as the wife of Joseph L. Artuso; however, all of her parents had gone away before she was born.
Rose (Perri) Groccia was also her mother. Beatrice is survived by her loving children Michael J. Artuso and wife Mirna, Linda A. Morin and husband Michael, and Debra A. Adamonis and husband John, all of Worcester. Michael J. Artuso and wife Mirna were married when their mother passed away. In addition to her 11 granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren, she is survived by her siblings Delores Moroski and Gerald Groccia, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
She had 11 grandkids and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her two sisters, five brothers, and her spouse. In addition, her parents and spouse had passed away. Beatrice was a devoted supporter of the Boston Red Sox, and in her leisure time, she enjoyed spending her time at Foxwoods, where she could scratch off lottery tickets, play bingo, and compete in 500 Rummy tournaments.
She became well-known for her Italian cookies, which she made as part of a Christmas tradition that she passionately continued with her children year after year. Her cookies were delicious. On Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Church in Worcester, which can be found at 33 Massasoit Road. The burial will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery & Mausoleum in Worcester, which can be found at 162 Webster Street. The burial will take place as soon as the service is over.
