Bruce August jr Death, Obituary – Mr. Bruce AlHazen August Sr., who passed away when he was 50 years old, will be laid to rest in accordance with Christian rites on the Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 11 in the morning. The celebration will take place at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, and the Reverend Francis Demoah will preside over the ceremony as the celebrant. He will wait for the resurrection to occur at the graveyard of the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette. This church is located in Louisiana.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church on the Saturday, August 21, 2021, beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until the time of the ceremony. This event is scheduled to take place for the entire day. At 10:30 in the morning, there will be a recitation of the Rosary before the gathering. In accordance with the COVID-19 regulation that was implemented in Louisiana on August 1, 2021, all attendees at the church as well as those buried in the cemetery are required to wear masks at all times.
On the afternoon of Monday, August 15, 2021, at around 3:16 p.m., he made his transition at the New Iberia Manor South Nursing Home, which is located in New Iberia. He had formerly called the town of Jeanerette home. After completing his high school education at Jeanerette Senior High School in 1992 and moving on to Grambling State University, Bruce continued his study.
Over the course of more than 10 years, Bruce held the positions of manager at both the Texaco Gas Station and the Denny’s restaurant where he worked as the head cook. After that, Bruce put his culinary expertise to use by working for ESS Support Services as a Senior Executive Steward. In this role, he was able to put his talents to good use.
He is survived by his life partner, LaQuanta S. Collins; his son, Bruce AlHazen August Jr., who was the pride and joy of his life; three bonus sons, Kameron Patterson, Kyron Patterson, and Kaden Patterson, all of Grand Marias; four brothers, Cory Hills Sr. of Lydia, Corey Francis of Houston, Texas, Reginald P. Ward of Jeanerette, and Kenyon K. Green (Katrina), both of Jeaner
His maternal grandparents, Hazel Conner August and Samuel August, and his paternal grandparents, Bertha Sereal Ward and David Ward, all passed away before he was born. His maternal grandmother was named Hazel Conner August, and his maternal grandfather was named Samuel August. His parents, Emily August Green and Larry Allen Ward, and his brother, Jacoby Hills, all passed away before he did. He was the last surviving member of his family.
The following individuals are serving as active pallbearers for this service: Sammy August Jr., Grant August, Jermaine Barlow, Leo Lee, Travons Marks, Jamarlyn Provost, Damien Tallmore, and Ronald Ward Jr.
Willie “Chilli” Polidore, Kirkland August, Rodney Madise, and Ferron Jack will serve as honorary pallbearers in addition to Kenyon Green, Corey Francis, Reginald Ward, Cory Hill Sr., and Corey Francis. On Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 11 a.m., a Christian burial service will be performed for Mr. Bruce AlHazen August Sr., who passed away at the age of 50. The service will take place at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, and the Reverend Francis Demoah will serve as the celebrant.
In the cemetery of the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Jeanerette, he will wait for the resurrection to take place.
