Buckhead Shooting – It was said that all three individuals were awake, cognizant, and breathing normally. The incident that took place just across the street from Phipps Plaza on Sunday afternoon is now under investigation by the Atlanta Police Department. According to the Atlanta Police Department, three persons were shot near the intersection of Oak Valley Road NE and Peachtree Road NE just after 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
All of the victims were said to be awake, cognizant, and still breathing when they were found. The location of the action is conveniently close to Lenox Square. There are now traffic delays and diversions along Peachtree Road close to Iron Hill Brewery in the vicinity of Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square. It is not yet known what led up to this incident; however, the Atlanta Police Department has arrived at the site to investigate.
It is unknown if any suspects have been apprehended, and there is no information available about the extent of the injuries sustained. 11Alive now has a team on location, and they are actively trying to get additional information about what took place.
