Calgary Motorcycle Accident Today, After being involved in the collision, a guy who had been riding a motorbike and had been involved in an accident on Stoney Trail was taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. It is believed that a lone motorcyclist traveling south at the Glenmore exit on Saturday afternoon about 3:30 p.m. lost control of his motorcycle and slammed into an adjacent structure.
After being transferred there, he was treated at Foothills Hospital after being sent there for care. At no point in time did the incident involve any other vehicles save the two that were involved. In order to facilitate the investigation into what may have been the cause of the collision, traffic was rerouted onto 52 Street while a portion of Stoney Trail at Peigan Trail was closed. This was done so that it would be simpler to determine what may have been the cause of the collision. This was done in order to ensure that the investigation would go as smoothly as possible.
