Christian Cook Death, Obituary – According to the City of Fountain, the investigation into the victim’s death is proceeding under the assumption that he was the victim of a homicide after his corpse was discovered on April 9 near the railroad lines in Fountain. The victim has been identified. After an employee of the BNSF Railway discovered a guy who was unresponsive by the train lines, members of the Fountain Fire Department (FFD) were initially dispatched to the vicinity of Alegre Circle and Highway 85/87 in Fountain approximately 8:30 a.m. to investigate the situation.
Christian Cook, age 31, was named as the victim in a press statement issued by the City of Fountain on April 10th. The report stated that the El Paso County Coroner has made the identification of the body. The cause of Cook’s death has been determined to be a homicide. Even though the City of Fountain believes this to be a unique event, they have requested anyone who may have information to get in touch with the appropriate authorities.
The City has issued a statement saying, “A young man has been killed, and we need the help of the public to identify the suspect.”
