Donnie Hansard Obituary, Death – We regret to tell you of the passing of Donnie Hansard, a former member of the Broward County Airboat Club. It is with great sadness that we share this news with you. This is a difficult announcement for us to make, and we apologize in advance. Prior to Donnie’s move to Brooksville, Florida, which took place three years ago, he and his family had been active members of the club for a good number of years.
Everyone who knew Donnie was able to quickly recognize that he had a strong interest in airboating. He spent numerous hours exploring the waters of the Everglades, and while he did so, he ensured that he always had either a fishing rod or hunting equipment within close proximity to him at all times. It was impossible not to catch his infectious passion for these activities, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and expertise with others. It was impossible not to capture his infectious joy for these pastimes.
Donnie’s life was cut short in a way that was both unexpected and terrible while he was on vacation in Tennessee. He is left by his wife Vicky and their three children, a son and two daughters, who were the greatest sources of joy in his life. He will be much missed by all of them. He will be leaving his family behind. His loved ones and friends will miss him dearly, and the airboat club will suffer a significant loss without him there. Donnie will always be remembered with kind feelings. During this difficult time, we would like to ask you to join us in sending Donnie’s family our deepest condolences as we send our thoughts and prayers to them. I am thankful for the memories that we had together, and I hope that you are finally at peace now, Donnie.
