Ellen Lynch Death, Obituary – Ellen L. (Lynch) Pottorff, age 82, of Gallatin, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in a hospital in Cameron, Missouri. She previously resided in Cameron and Hatfield, Missouri. She was the daughter of Harvey L. and Francis R. (Scott) Lynch and was born on September 11th, 1929 in the town of Allendale, Missouri. Ellen worked as a seamstress at the Lambert Cap Factory, the Big Smith Department Store, and the Stride Rite Shoe Factory. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Cameron, Missouri.
In addition to being a member of the Parents without Partners organization. Surviving family members include three daughters, Teddie Lou Broughton (Dean Mitchell), Gladstone, Missouri; Barbara Ann (Dennis) Ballew, Gallatin, Missouri; Marcella Faye (Dave) Jennings, Billings, Montana; one son, Daryld Gene (Barb) Pottorff, Western Grove, Arkansas; one brother, Ivan (Nancy) Lynch, Griswold, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Her parents, an infant son named Terry Max Pottorff, a great-granddaughter named Angelina Dawn-Marie Pittman, three sisters named Luceal, Goldie, and Mable, five brothers named Carter, Paul, Melvin, Walter, and Clifford, and two infant brothers all predeceased her. Roberson Funeral Home in Eagleville, Missouri will be the location of the funeral services on Monday, September 10, at 10:30 a.m. Interment took place in the Lotts Grove Cemetery in Allendale, Missouri.
At the funeral home, where guests may call beginning at three in the afternoon on Sunday, the family will be present to greet visitors from three in the afternoon until five in the evening. Donations in memory of the deceased can be sent to the Roberson Funeral Home, located at PO Box 46 in Bethany, Missouri 64424; they can be made to the Lotts Grove Cemetery or the Daviess County Nursing and Rehab Activity Fund.
