Erika Bailey Obituary, Death – The Virginia State Police are currently conducting an investigation into the pedestrian accident that took place on Wednesday evening in Atlantic, Virginia. The accident resulted in the death of a female pedestrian. According to the reports received by the police, the incident was said to have taken place on Nocks Landing Road on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. When they were involved in an accident, Erika Cherrelle Bailey, age 26, and her boyfriend, Duane Lee Turner, age 39, were attempting to teach their daughter, age 6, how to ride a bicycle, according to the authorities.
The accident occurred when they were involved in the accident. They were struck from behind by what seemed to be a 2021 Honda Pilot sport utility vehicle. The investigation conducted by the police concluded that Erika Bailey Bailey was unable to survive the impact. Turner and their daughter were both brought to Tidal Health in Salisbury, where they were treated for their terrible injuries. Turner was the one who called for an ambulance to take them there. Jessica Greenley Waterfield, who was 36 years old at the time of the accident, and her passenger, who was 3 years old, reportedly did not receive any injuries as a result of the incident.
The records from the police indicate that neither the high rate of speed nor the drinking of alcohol were factors in the accident that occurred. The Accomack Commonwealth Attorney’s Office is currently conducting an evaluation of the investigation; after they have made their assessment, they will decide whether or not charges will be placed as a result of the inquiry.
