Gloria Carlson Obituary, Death – We are sorry to inform you of the passing of Gloria Carlson, who was a devoted supporter of the Andes Public Library. Her departure leaves us with a sense of loss. We are indebted to her for the kindness she shown to us over the course of the years, and it is with deep regret that we must inform you of her departure at this time. We are sharing this information with you despite the fact that it fills our hearts with as much anguish as they are capable of holding. Gloria, who had been a patient at the Albany Medical Center, passed away while she was resting in the calm and convenience of the facility on the late evening of Thursday, April 13, 2023. She had been a patient there for some time.
Since the 13th of April 2023, she had been residing there. On the Saturday, May 6th, at 1:30 in the afternoon, there will be a Buddhist service that will be conducted at Streamside Yoga in Andes. The memorial service will take place on May 6th. The function will take place on the day that was initially set for it to take place. Up until the year 2020, Gloria served as the director of our library, a member of the Board of Trustees, and the Friday clerk at this site. After that, she was re-elected to the Board of Trustees, and she continued to carry out her duties of book acquisition and processing right up until the very last day of her tenure in office. During that time, she was the trustee for the university library.
In addition to that, she worked here as a cashier on Fridays while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here while she was here. Everyone here will have a great sense of loss when she is no longer among us because her absence will be so significant. I am now putting together a memorial for her in my Library Notes, and it would mean a great deal to me if other people from the community as well as those who use the library could contribute to it. If you are able to help me out with this, you will have my undying gratitude.
