Gordon Derhammer Obituary, Death – As a much-loved Life Member of the organization, Gordon Derhammer passed away recently, and the Officers and Members of the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company would like to express their sincerest sympathies to his family and friends on this sad occasion. For a good number of years, Gordon served as a devoted member of the organization.
Because Gordon had spent the larger part of the previous half century serving the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, he was regarded to be one of the organization’s founding members. This was due to the fact that the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1952. In addition to that, he held the position of president of the company for many years.
Gordon worked for the fire department for a significant number of years, during which time he was promoted to a number of different positions within the organization. The rotation of these responsibilities took place on a regular basis inside the department. Young and ambitious firemen who joined the department for the first time had the option to have Gordon act as a mentor and guide for them throughout their time with the organization.
Because of this, Gordon will be remembered fondly throughout all of history. This is something that will be remembered as a horrific catastrophe for as long as people can remember. As a consequence of Gordon’s demise, the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him will be significantly diminished as a result of the absence he leaves behind.
