Hilton Accident, According to the coroner who inspected the site of the tragedy that occurred close to Hardeeville on Monday morning, the woman who was killed in the accident was from Hilton Head, and the man who died was from Edgefield County in South Carolina. Both victims were from South Carolina. According to the information provided by Jasper County Coroner Willie P. Aiken III, Ana Pressley, who was 44 years old, and Thomas Hillard, who was 41 years old, both passed away as a result of the accident that took place on Stiney Road near Highway 321. It was discovered at the scene that both Pressley and Hillard had died away as a result of their injuries.
On Wednesday, an autopsy will be done at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston on both of the fatalities who were recovered at that location. Aiken and previous reporting from the Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette indicate that the two were engaged in an accident at around 8:40 in the morning as they were driving in a Mitsubishi car that was being driven by Pressley. Aiken was the passenger in the vehicle, and Pressley was the driver.
The crash did not cause any injuries to the driver of the tractor-trailer, who was sitting behind the wheel. On Tuesday afternoon, there was no more information about the accident that could be obtained quickly and easily.
