Ian Swale Obituary, Death – We regret to tell you of the passing of Ian Swale, a well-known personality in the world of sporting clay who was also a founding member of South Island Sporting Clays Inc. It is with great sadness that we share this news with you. It is with great regret that we must inform you of this latest development. Within the community of sporting clay shooters, Ian had a reputation for being a prominent figure. Ian was a well-known and respected individual in the sports clays community due to the many years that he spent actively participating in the community. Ian enjoys participating, but in addition to that, he has officiated at a number of global championships and has also been the New Zealand representative at FITASC. Both of these things are his passions. In addition to that, he was a member of the New Zealand national team and played the position of player.
After that, he traveled back to New Zealand, taking with him the knowledge and expertise that he had obtained during his time overseas, and he began working with the NZCTA to raise awareness about sporting clays across the country. Because Ian has contributed an unprecedented level of passion, commitment, and effort into our sport, his presence will be sadly missed due to the fact that he is without a peer in these areas. This is because Ian has contributed an unrivaled level of passion, dedication, and effort into our sport. Funeral services for Ian will be place on Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at the Lamb & Hayward, Westpark Chapel & Memorial Garden.
