Jaclyn Farmer Obituary, Death – Jaclyn Rae Farmer, age 46, from Lexington, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. On Friday, April 21, 2023, visitation will take place at the Lexington United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The address of the church is 1211 S. Bus. Hwy. 13, Lexington, MO 64067. After the viewing, a funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Please remember to wear purple in Jaclyn’s honor. Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri will serve as the location for the interment. The 13th of April, 1977 found Jaclyn being brought into the world by her parents, Steven DeLuca and Dianna Farmer, in North Kansas City, Missouri. She attended North Kansas City High School and earned her diploma there.
At her place of employment, the Missouri Farm & Home Mutual Insurance Company, located in Richmond, Missouri, Jaclyn was responsible for both marketing and underwriting. Before that, she held positions at H&R Block and for a considerable amount of time in the hospitality business. Jaclyn has always had a strong desire to help other people, and she is currently acting as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce, in addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Lexington Booster Club. She has spent countless hours assisting with various needs around the Lexington community, and for helping people in general.
As soon as Jaclyn entered a room, it would immediately brighten up because of her contagious laugh and grin. Jaclyn’s most heroic gift was the gift of life, she was an Organ Donor and owing to her courageous gesture, today others have a new chance at life. She delighted in visiting her children’s athletic events, gardening, and decorating her home with beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her fiancé, Drew Emerson of the home; four children, Dustin Christian, Jett Christian, Braxton Emerson, and Madaux Emerson, all of the home; a sister, Carmen Bryan of Lexington, MO; father and mother-in-law, David and Malia Emerson of Lexington, MO; close family friends, Glen and Debbie Bagley, and Danny Hoeppner all of Lexington, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Jaclyn’s devoted grandparents, Finace Dale and Betty Jean Farmer, passed away before her. Her passing comes after the loss of both of her parents.
