Jacquis Irby Obituary, Death – The Cook County Medical Examiner has made public the name of the individual who was killed in a shooting that took place on Wednesday evening at an Evanston Beach. As a result, Northwestern University, which is located in the area, has issued a shelter-in-place order for a period of one hour. The incident took place on an Evanston Beach. The victim has been identified as Jacquis Irby, age 18, who resided in the 8500 block of Niles Center Road in Skokie.
He was shot to death on Sunday. The Medical Examiner was kind enough to supply us with this information. The event reportedly led in the injury of at least two more persons, as stated by the officials. A second victim, identified as a 15-year-old girl, was located and sent to a local hospital in an extremely severe condition. A third victim, also 15 years old, was reportedly shot but her injuries was not considered to be life-threatening by the authorities.
The identity of the people who were hurt have not been made public by the authorities that investigated the incident. In an update that was provided on Wednesday evening, Cmdr. Ryan Glew of the Evanston Police Department indicated that officers went to a call of shots being fired at Clark Street Beach around 8:30 p.m. in order to investigate the situation. The beach may be found on the 1800 block of Sheridan Drive, which is situated just to the south of the Northwestern University campus.
According to Glew, the first findings of the investigation show that immediately after the shooting, two suspects fled the area on foot, and then soon after that, they got into a car and drove away. Because the suspects were last seen traveling north on Sheridan Road, in the direction of the university, officials at Northwestern University issued a shelter-in-place order just before 9 o’clock in the evening. The reason for this order was because the suspects were believed to be headed in that area.
