James Mager Obituary, Death – James C. Mager was a responder on 9/11 and subsequently died of cancer connected to his time spent serving on that day. The Uniformed Firefighters Association has extended their heartfelt sympathies on the news of his demise. Mager died of cancer related to the time he spent serving on that day. Mager was unable to beat his illness and passed away as a result of his condition.
James devoted 19 years of his life to serving the New York City Fire Department, where he was assigned to the E-293 station for the most of those years. During that period, he was given the rank of Lieutenant, which was a promotion for him. His passing occurred on April 8, and he was survived by his devoted wife, children, extended family, friends, and coworkers.
At the time of his departure, he had already lived to the ripe old age of 61. At the time of his departure, he had lived on our planet for a total of 61 years.
