Janelle Nardo Death, Obituary – On Saturday, January 14, 2012, the family of the late Janelle Nardo announces her unexpected demise at the age of 16 due to a medical emergency. They do so with an overwhelming sense of grief. Janelle is survived by her parents Lori and Richard Blanchard, her sister Gabrielle Blanchard, her grandparents Charlotte and Warrick Lovell, Rhoda and Warren Blanchard, her great-grandparents Austin and Susy Park, Cain and Iris Lovell, and Nina Hoddinott; her aunts and uncles Lorna and Fabian, Sandra and Vernon, and Dennis and Deanne; and her cousins Dylan, James, Gavin, and Garrett.
A large number of people, including her family and friends, will remember her fondly for all time. Janelle was known for her stunning and genuine smile that she shared with everyone, her remarkable personality, and her intense passion for sports. Everyone who knew her will miss her very much, but especially her teammates on the volleyball and basketball teams she played on.
At the Epiphany Church in McIver’s, visitation will get underway on the evening of Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at seven o’clock. Visitation will also take place on Wednesday of this week. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. at The Epiphany Church in McIvers. Following the funeral, the burial will take place in the church cemetery. Reverend Joan Coles will preside over the ceremony. Donations in support of the senior girls’ volleyball team at Templeton Academy will be gratefully appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
