Jennifer Twomey Obituary, Death – Jennifer Kay Twomey, 47, died unexpectedly at her Sunfish Lake, MN home on April 2, 2023. Gerald and Kay Isaacs had Jennifer on March 12, 1976, in St. Paul, MN. She attended Visitation School through the fifth grade before moving to Naples, FL, for middle school. She returned to Minnesota and graduated from Sibley High School in West St. Paul.
Jen discovered her softball talent in Florida, pitching on multiple World Series Championship teams in Naples, earning All-State Honors in Minnesota during high school, and earning a full scholarship to Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Since she downplays her ability, many readers may be surprised. Jen was modest and unselfish, always putting others before herself. If you talked to her, you probably shared more about yourself than hers.
Jen always smiled, but her grin was brightest when she was with Grace and Ella. She loved them and was a doting mother. She always said her favorite part of the day was picking up her daughters from school, just to see their cheerful smiles on the short walk to her car. Jen’s other interests included travel, especially to warm places, country music concerts, celebrating almost every holiday (which, to her husband’s dismay, often included full decorations), spending time with her large and close extended family, and of course, attending as many of her daughters’ events as possible.
“It’s all about the memories,” Jen said one July evening. She was spot-on. May her memory bless us forever. Jen is survived by her husband Jeff, children Grace (16) and Ella (14), mother Kay Isaacs, sisters Kari and Kim Isaacs, brothers Jay and Joe (Sarah) Isaacs, parents-in-law Chris and Darla Twomey, and John and Kamille Kennedy. Her father, Gerald Isaacs, brother Chris Isaacs, paternal grandparents Jim and Genevieve Isaacs, and maternal grandparents William and Virginia Koziol died. O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Services, 575 South Snelling Avenue, St. Paul, MN, will have a visiting on Wednesday, April 12th from 4:00–7:00 p.m. St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1154 Seminole Avenue, St. Paul, MN, will hold funeral services on Thursday, April 13th at 10:00 a.m. Visitation begins one hour before the service.
