Joe Bales Obituary, Death – On the morning of Sunday, April 16, 2023, Mr. Joe Bales, a citizen of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Bales’s passing was announced by his family. On May 13, 1936, Joe Bales was born in Limestone, Tennessee, to his late parents, Charlie and Eva Bales. Both of his parents have now passed away.
Before Joe, his first wife, Martha Keys Bales, as well as his brother Charles “Bob” Bales, his sister Helen Booker, and a very special great nephew called Hunter Markland all went away.
The impact that Joe leaves behind in his community will be that of a lovely husband, brother, and uncle, in addition to being a true neighbor to everyone who knew him. Gardening and camping were two of Joe’s favorite hobbies after he retired from his job at Holston Defense.
