John Wagstaff Obituary, Death – The members of the Doncaster Pride team would like to take this opportunity to send their most sincere condolences to each and every one of you in the wake of the recent passing of our dearly beloved John Dorlin-Wagstaff. Since 2009, John had been on the Pride Committee, and over the course of his tenure on the committee, he had exerted a great deal of effort in order to garner the admiration and respect of his fellow committee members. People will always remember how vital he was to our wonderful team and how much he contributed to the overall success of Doncaster Pride, even if it will take a very long time before this becomes common knowledge.
He towered over everything else. John was widely known to a considerable number of our merchants and sponsors because he served in the capacity of both lead site designer and coordinator of our market area. This was due to the fact that John served in both of these capacities simultaneously. In addition to that, he was in charge of our beautiful flower arrangements in the backstage area. His responsibilities included planting, caring for, and transporting the plants to the venue in a secure manner. In addition to that, he handled the flower arrangements that were placed in the lobby of our establishment.
His passing has left the team with a significant void that we will never be able to replace, but he also leaves behind a legacy that we will always hold very dearly in our hearts and will always be a part of him in this way. His passing has unfortunately left the team with a significant hole; nevertheless, he does leave behind a legacy for them.
