Judy Eckert Obituary, Death – Judy Dean “Deana” Hurst Eckert, who had attained the age of 57 at the time of her departure, made the passage from this world to the next and into eternal life on April 10, 2023. Her passing marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life. As a direct result of her mother’s demise, she was able to accomplish this. She was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and her parents are Ben Condit Hurst and the late Judy Bast Hurst. Her mother passed away before her birth. Her mother has since left this world. While she was still in the pregnancy, her mother had already passed away from an illness. Those who are able to carry on her legacy after she has passed away include her husband Mike Eckert, to whom she had been married for 28 years, her son Benjamin Eckert, her daughter Emily Eckert, her brothers Brian, Scott, and Brad Hurst, as well as a large number of friends who were quite fond of her.
Her family members, including her husband Mike Eckert, her son Benjamin Eckert, her daughter Emily Eckert, and her father Ben Condit Hurst, all outlive her. Emily Eckert, her daughter, is one of the people who will carry on her legacy. She held the job of bank administrator at the Old National Bank, the financial organization in which she worked, throughout the time that she was employed there. Deana was a kind and selfless person who found the most satisfaction in displaying her love and concern not just to people in her immediate circle of family and friends, but also to complete strangers and anybody else she came into contact with throughout her life.
She was a member of a close-knit family and was well-loved and respected by all who knew her. Deana passed away in 2010. In spite of the fact that she participated in a wide variety of pursuits and activities, she was distinguishable from the others on account of this trait. On Friday, April 14, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral services will be held at Northside Christian Church, which can be found at 4407 Charlestown Rd. in New Albany, Indiana 47150. The cremation will take place immediately after the conclusion of the rituals, and the burial will take place after that.
