Laura Anderson Obituary, Death – Sadly, Laura Anderson, who lived in Longford and garnered widespread attention for her work to raise money for cancer research, passed away recently. Laura was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer several years ago, and she has spent those years fighting the disease. A month ago, she found out that she only had a few weeks left to live.
The man who was born and raised in Longford launched a fundraising page on GoFundMe with the intention of collecting a total of 420,00 pesos in order to finance his trip to Mexico in order to receive treatment that could perhaps extend his life. A total of 402,512 pounds was collected as a result of the generosity of a number of well-known people, such as Joanne McNally, who expressed their support for Laura’s cause.
The note that was posted on Laura’s GoFundMe page read, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I let you know that Laura has regrettably passed away quietly at her home with her beautiful husband and family this morning at 11:11.” On Saturday, Laura boarded a flight and left. She was the most amazing and valiant young lady I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, and she fought all the way up until the very end.
We would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to everyone who has been there for Laura and cheered her on during her trip. I am aware of how much your generosity and kind words have meant to her and how much they have assisted her in making it through some of the most challenging times she has had as a result of those things. In order for Laura to be able to offer assistance to those who are experiencing the most difficulty, the funds that are raised will be donated to the charitable organizations that are especially significant to her.
My sweet and wonderful daughter, may you finally find rest. “If love could have rescued me, I would have lived forever,” Laura is quoted as saying in this passage. After hearing the devastating news that Laura had passed away, users flocked to Instagram to share their condolences and pay their respects to her family. Many of the posts that were shared were in memory of Laura.
