Leon Allen Obituary, Death – Daphne, Alabama – wolfe bayview funeral home, On Thursday, April 6, 2023, Minister Leon L. Allen left this life and went to be with the Lord. His parents, the late Edward Allen and the late Thelma Allen, welcomed him into the world on April 28th, 1947 in Point Clear, Alabama. He spent the most of his life in Daphne, Alabama, with his devoted wife Jenifer, who he had been married to for over 55 years. He had completed his education at Baldwin County Training School in 1966 and received his diploma. He had been attending Spanish Fort United Methodist Church for a significant amount of time.
He had 43 years of experience as the owner and operator of Leon’s Petroleum, a thriving gas station and mechanic shop located in the middle of Downtown Daphne, Alabama. In addition to his wife, Jenifer Allen, Leon is survived by three daughters: Mia (Pastor Clarence) Hall of Mobile, AL; Whitney (Jarvis) Berry of Montgomery, AL; one son: Ivan (Stephanie Buchanan) Allen of Daphne, AL; four goddaughters: April (DaNova) Hare of Acworth, GA, Kendle Hooks of Atlanta, GA, Ta’Kiera McCovery of Point Clear, AL, Ry His parents, Edward Allen and Thelma Allen, passed away before he was born and they are buried together.
Services include the following: On Friday, April 14, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the Wake will be held at the Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home located at 19698 Greeno Rd. in Fairhope, Alabama 36532. Spanish Fort United Methodist Church, located at 6690 Spanish Fort Blvd., Spanish Fort, Alabama 36527, will be the location of the funeral services that will be place on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am. The viewing will start at 10:00 in the morning.
