Les Trach Obituary, Death – The world has suffered the loss of another cowboy. It was during the Cold Lake Stampede in 2013 that I had the pleasure of making Les Trach’s acquaintance for the very first time. Les was a fantastic individual who had a deep passion for both his family and the sport of rodeo. Heaven is now home to one more angel than before. I hope to see you again soon, my buddy.
You have arrived in Heaven without having to worry about paying any entrance fees. On behalf of everyone here at the Lane Cust Foundation, please accept our sincerest sympathies on the loss of Les, who passed away earlier today. His nephew Lee has been the pick-up man at our event for a number of years, and Les was a one-of-a-kind individual who always had time for an entertaining tale to tell. Cowboy, you can take it easy. I am sorry to hear that.
I initially became acquainted with him when I was working in Onoway to assist a buddy and while I was traveling across the rodeo circuit. Everyone who ever had the pleasure of knowing him will mourn his passing deeply. My deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Trach’s family as well as all of his friends. Please accept my deepest sympathies on behalf of myself and all of his family and friends. He embodied the classic cowboy ideal. Les, heaven is waiting for you with its arms wide open.
