Lynda Bennett Obituary, Death – Lynda Lee Bennett, who was 74 years old and from Huntsville, Missouri, passed away on September 6, 2022 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Nelly Rush gave birth to Lynda on March 11th, 1948 in the town of Richmond, Missouri. They tied the knot on July 23, 1993 in Moberly, Missouri. James Bennett was her spouse. She loved to sew, do arts and crafts, and be a homemaker, and she was also a big fan of working out. Her loved ones, including her family and friends, will never forget her excellent cooking or her flair for fashion. She cherished the time she could spend with her loved ones and friends. Sewing was our grandma’s favorite hobby, and she also enjoyed playing board games and sharp shooters.
Her cherished son Terry Linton II, Donna Crawford, Patricia Higdon, Roberta, Shirley Heitman, and Charles Denver Houston all passed away before Lynda. Tabatha (Bryan) Bennett of Columbia, Missouri, and Chad McGinnis of Moberly, Missouri, are the only members of Lynda’s immediate family to survive her death. Her husband, James Bennett, resides in Huntsville, Missouri. Eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, a brother named Stephen Ovens who is married to Judith and lives in Jefferson City, Missouri, a brother-in-law named Lester Heitman who lives in Independence, Missouri, a large number of aunts, uncles, and close friends.
A memorial service honoring Lynda’s life will be held at the Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm. The date and time of the service are still to be determined. Visitation will take place beginning at noon and continuing up until the time of the service. Donations can be made in Lynda’s memory to the Central Missouri Humane Society, which is located at 616 Big Bear Blvd, Columbia, Missouri 65202, if the donor so chooses.
