Marie Ella Morrie Obituary, Death – Blanche Marie Morris, who was 69 years old when she died away on January 30, 2022, did so in Saint Francis Hospital in Vinita, Oklahoma. She called the town of Vinita in Oklahoma her home. On September 13, 1952, she was born in Fort Brag, North Carolina. The day of her birth was also September 13. Her parents were Howard Christopher Cooper and Claudia Lee (Summerlin) Cooper. Her paternal grandfather was Howard Christopher Cooper. Marie wed Tommy Joe Morris, the man who would go on to become the love of her life, on February 28, 1970, in the state of South Carolina. Tommy Joe Morris was her first husband.
She was a member of the Harvest Time Ministries Church in Miami, Oklahoma, and that was the church that she went to. Marie’s greatest interest, despite the fact that she liked going to church and taking care of her garden filled with flowers, was spending time with her family. Her parents, Jimmy Cooper, George Williams, Eddie Cooper, and John Cooper, as well as her husband, Scott Story, and her son-in-law, Scott Story, all passed away before she did. She was also preceded in death by her husband. Marie is survived by her husband of 51 years Tommy Joe Morris; children, Holly Miller (Michael) of Louisiana, Brandi Tetu (Jamie Dare) of Kansas City, KS, Tracie Story (John Stonebarger) of Vinita; sister, Bobbie Smith of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Ashton O’Neil, Alexandra Tetu, Will Tetu, Rose Tetu, Libby Inzano, Olivia Morris, Samantha Story, Jax O’Neil, Jovi O’Neil, Braydon Stonebarger and Emma Stonebarger.
On the evening of Monday, February 7, 2022, from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening, the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel will be open for visitation.
