Rebecca Kelly Obituary, Death – Rebecca “Becki” Kelly, who was born on August 25, 1966, passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 56. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Becki was employed by Muskegon County as a Family Court Administrative Assistant during her time there. She cherished her job and the time she got to spend with the people she considered her “second family” both during working hours and after.
Becki had an effect on the lives of so many people around her. It was well recognized for both her contagious laugh and her eagerness to engage in exciting new experiences. Becki loved going on adventures, participating in activities like cardio-drumming and “Fun-Fridays,” visiting casinos, and bowling in a wine league at Sherman Bowling Center. The presence of all of Becki’s favorite people, including her friends, family, and co-workers, elevated the quality of these events to an even higher level.
The most significant achievement in Becki’s life was becoming a mother to her son, Adam. She had an intense love for him and for the rest of her family as well. Despite the challenges she faced throughout the course of this year, Becki never lost her upbeat demeanor and remained true to her life philosophy, which was “Take the Trip, Buy the Shoes, Eat the Cake.” Becki has been met in Heaven by her mother, Carolyn Deneen. Becki will be missed by her son, Adam Kelly (Anakah Williams); siblings, Kim (Garry) Sparks, Lori Deneen, and Kirk (Tracy) Deneen; beloved nieces and nephews, Tyler Sparks, Colin Sparks (Katelyn Jelinek), Conner Deneen (Emily Sherburn), Carlee Deneen;
Also, Brendan Deneen and Jaxon Deneen; great-nephew, Karson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her mother, Lynn Deneen, passed away before her, and she was also preceded in death by her father. The family will receive guests on Monday, April 17 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services located at 6291 S. Harvey St. in Norton Shores, Michigan 49444.
