Rick Wilson Obituary, Death – On April 19, 1962, Rick’s parents, Roy Lee and Carolyn (McDaniel) Wilson, welcomed their second son into the world. Richard Lynn Wilson (Rick). On January 16, 2023, he passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones. When Rick was a kid, he loved playing outside. He and his brother, JR., and their grandfather, Wilson, enjoyed going fishing. He devoted a lot of time to perfecting his baseball throwing skills. Rick attended Urich Elementary before moving on to complete his high school degree at Sherwood.
For as long as he could remember, Rick had a soft spot for big rigs, and he spent many years on the road while blasting “Convoy” by C.W. McCall. He worked with Duncan Boat Racing as a mechanic for a while and enjoyed it very much. His interest was in the operation and maintenance of mechanical devices. During the autumn, he spent his nights driving all around town in hopes of seeing a deer in the woods. Sometimes he even managed to bring home a prize.
