Ronnell Johnson Death, Obituary – Ronnell Thomas Johnson, who was 54 years old and from St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries he sustained in a horrific accident. At the time of his departure, he was held in the arms of his wife of 29 years and was encompassed by loved ones on all sides. The 21st of June, 1968 found Ronnell Johnson being welcomed into the world in Pearisburg, Virginia by his parents, Paul and Barbara Johnson.
Ronnell attended Giles High School, where he was a member of the football and track & field teams. He went on to earn his high school graduation. After completing his high school education, he joined the military and did his part to serve his country. After serving in the armed forces for a period of time, he and his wife eventually settled down in Florida and began their lives together in that state. Ronnell was the kind of man who always gave his best and was extremely committed to the work that he did. He was a commercial driver for a significant portion of his working life.
If Ronnell were to smile, it would unquestionably make the environment more upbeat and joyful. He had a warm space in his heart for everyone, but his family was the most important thing in the world to him. He was a devoted husband and father to his family. He had a love-hate relationship with golf, but the friendship relationships he forged on the golf course were indestructible. His feelings about golf might be summed up in two words: love-hate.
In addition to this, he was completely under the impression that he was a professional wrestler and would practice his skills on his younger brother Stephen as well as his cousins Allan and Shawn. He was affectionately referred to as the “Rib King” due to his love of the kitchen and the barbecue. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and was always making everyone around him laugh with his infectious singing and dancing. He also enjoyed music.
Paul Johnson, Ronnell’s father, passed away before his son was born. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Johnson; his wife, Christina Johnson; his daughters Gatane Gallagher Muslimani (husband Raed), Dominique Johnson, and Chauntel Johnson; his grandchildren Nolan, Alden, and Leona; his brother, Stephen Johnson (wife Desiree); as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Pearisburg on Saturday, April 15, 2023, where viewing will be held from In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Pearisburg, which is a place of worship that Ronnell will always think of as his home.
