Ronnie Smith Obituary, Death – Ronnie Smith, who was originally from Spring City, Tennessee and had reached the age of 74 when he died away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. On December 30th, 1948, he was brought into the world by his late parents, Glen Bolton Smith and Marie Bolton Smith. Both of his parents have since passed away. Ronnie graduated with his class from Spring City High School in 1968, the same year that he was a part of that class.
Before he retired after 31 years of service, he worked for Volunteer Electric Cooperative in a variety of capacities, including as a groundman, a lineman, and ultimately as the superintendent of the Spring City office. Ronnie loves woodworking and caring his yard. He was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Spring City, Tennessee, therefore he made it a point to attend the Sunday services there. Ronnie’s other family members, such as his brother Pat Douglas and his sisters Emily Travis, Glenna Tutor, Mary Ann Phillips, and Charlotte Smith, all gone away before he did.
