Sean Quigley Obituary, Death – On April 5, 2023, at the age of seventy years old, Sean P. Quigley passed away at the Charlotte House, which was located in North Java, New York. He called the town of Portageville in New York his home. On July 11, 1952, he was born to his late parents, Robert J. Quigley and Patricia M. (Boardman) Quigley, who both predeceased him. His birth took place in Rochester, New York.
Balloons above Letchworth was once owned by Sean, who eventually parted ways with the business in the year 2020. At the moment, he and his wife are the proprietors of the Parkside Lodge in Portageville, and they also provide sleigh rides all across Letchworth State Park. After spending some time working in the field of real estate, he went on to become the Town Justice of Genesee Falls, a position he held for a combined total of 23 years.
Carpentry, hot air ballooning, and a wide variety of sports were some of Sean’s passions, but the Boston Red Sox and the Buffalo Bills were his all-time favorite teams. In addition to fallow deer and reindeer, he bred and kept on the family farm a variety of other animals, including goats, lamas, peacocks, goats, and horses. He is survived by his wife, Denise M. (Zillioux) Quigley, whom he married on December 31, 2000, two step-daughters: Krista Cooling of Castile and Dana Kemp of Portageville, two step-sons:
John (Maria) Cooling of Spencerport, New York and James (Krista) Monteleone of Scott, Illinois, a sister: Molly Cusick of Corning and a brother: Timothy (Diane) On Friday, April 14, people from the surrounding area are encouraged to stop by the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC at 98 North Main Street in Perry between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. to pay their respects to the deceased. There will be a memorial service held in Sean’s honor at a later date, which we will announce when the time comes.
