Shooting in New Orleans Today, The victim’s mother reports that the shooting that occurred in the family home shook her and the rest of her loved ones to their core. The New Orleans Police Department has made a violent shooting caught on security camera from the Fairgrounds area available to the public. On Monday morning, it took place on a street that is next to the LSU Dental School. The victim’s mother reports that the shooting that occurred in the family home shook her and the rest of her loved ones to their core. She wailed, “They have so much stuff you could be doing,” referring to the activities that they offered. “Man, you guys are just wasting your lives,” I can’t believe that.
As she picked up bullet casing in her yard, Carla, the mother, who did not want to provide her last name or identify her son, wiped away her tears and did not want to reveal her last name. She stated that she was continuously discovering shell casings despite the fact that the police had counted something like 90 of them. Only seven of these were lying about in plain sight when I found them. However, they have more than that. They’re in every nook and cranny of my backyard. The New Orleans Police Department has made the video from the surveillance camera available. Carla claims that the victim, who was 31 years old at the time, was in her vehicle getting ready to get a window repaired when three armed guys on foot began shooting at him from farther down the street.
The video shows her youngster hopping away from the gunmen while standing on one foot. He was being pursued by one of the gunmen, who opened out with another volley of fire in his direction. Carla explained that the shooters were located further down the street when the incident that resulted in her husband being shot in the automobile occurred. Therefore, as they reduced the intensity of the firing a little bit, he was able to get out of the car and rush inside. Jeff Fox, a neighbor, heard the rounds being fired. “It was nothing but rapid fire; at least twenty-five and thirty shots were fired in no more than fifteen or twenty seconds at the most.” as if fireworks were being set off, ” Fox explained.
It appeared to be a firing at a specific target. Fox added. They were moving in the same direction. It was very similar to a game of turkey shoot. One traveled down Tensas Street, while the other traveled down Roger Williams Street. Therefore, the plan was in place. Carla pointed out a multitude of bullet holes that were found in her home. She stated that it is a wonder that her grandkids, ages 5 and 8, were not at home when the shooting took place, as it occurred about 9 a.m., while the children were at school. “Dude, that’s way too much. I can’t even bring them back up in here because the last time I did, they were traumatized, and I had to get them out of here as soon as possible.”
According to her, her kid suffered bullet wounds in one of his legs as well as both of his shoulders. Her family has been affected by acts of violence on multiple occasions, so this is not the first time it has happened.
