Terry Gray Obituary, Death – Terry A. Gray, 66 years old, a resident of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in the comfort of his own home with his devoted wife by his side. Terry Gray was brought into the world on July 2, 1956 in Toledo by his parents, Norman and Betty (Finch). On March 6, 1993, he wed Janet Myers, and they went on to have many beautiful years together as a married couple. T received his diploma from Perrysburg/Penta County Vocational Schools, where he focused his studies on becoming an auto mechanic. After owning and operating Yaw’s Sunoco for more than 22 years, he moved on to T Gray Automotive in Perrysburg, where he also spent more than 22 years as an owner and operator.
T was an avid follower of NASCAR, and Dale Earnhardt was his favorite driver. Because of this, even his mother became one of his supporters. She took him by surprise by being more knowledgeable about the sport than he was. Even though he enjoyed shooting weapons and going hunting, he found that the time he spent at home with Janet on their property was the most calming.
T had the greatest heart that ever beat, and as a result, he was adored by everyone. His loved ones, as well as his friends and the people in the community, will miss him. On the 30th of July, 2022, from 12pm until 5pm, we will be holding a celebration of T’s life at T Gray Automotive, which is located at 26040 Glenwood Rd.
Terry’s family includes his brother Norman Gray, Jr., who is survived by his wife Diane, his sisters Sally (Bud) Allison and Jenny Whitecotton, and his mother-in-law Ila Myers. He is also survived by his wife Janet. His parents, brother-in-law Bob Whitecotton, father-in-law Raymond Myers, and sister-in-law Bev Ledbetter all passed away before him. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association can be offered in the honor of the deceased.
