Vancouver Starbucks Stabbing, Outside of a Starbucks location in Vancouver, a man in his thirties was allegedly stabbed in front of his wife and little kid. The suspect, identified as Inderdeep Singh Gosal, is currently being investigated for murder. At the intersection of Pender and Granville streets, Paul Stanley Schmidt was attacked with a knife and stab wounds were sustained. The Dr. Sun Yat-sen Garden Society has established a fundraising page on GoFundMe in support of the Schmidt family. The Garden Society appended a comment to the document that stated:
The occurrence took occurred on Sunday at approximately 5:40 in the evening. A bystander captured graphic footage of the incident, which shows Schmidt grasping his stomach before falling to the ground and appearing to lose consciousness. The clip was taken during the attack. In this video, there is evidence of blood being splattered all over the ground. Paul Stanley Schmidt suffered life-threatening injuries at the hands of another man and was brought to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving there. According to the allegations, there are no known connections between the suspect and the victim.
